Ashly John . Video Denoising in Spatio-Temporal Domain for Video Codec. International Conference on VLSI, Communication & Instrumentation. ICVCI, 16 (None 2011), 38-40.
Noise in video sequences reduce video compression performance. The solution is introduction of noise reduction step prior to encoding..Noise reduction is done by video denoising .It is done by reusing motion estimation resources from video coding for video denoising. But it cannot be done directly. For that motion field filtering is used .It is because motion estimation resources may contain false motion vectors. It should be removed .This brings out accuracy. To estimate correct motion temporal filtering is done.the spatially non-stationery noise are removed by spatial filering.
