Abstract

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are deployed where human reach is difficult of even impossible WSN are responsible for measuring data in the environment in which they are deployed. So it is meaningless if the location data is unavailable. Many localization algorithms are proposed to increase accuracy and sensor lifetime, decrease processing time and cost requirements. In this paper a survey and has been done on node localization algorithm which involves usage of both neural network and non-neural network approaches and modelling node localization in 2D using a Fuzzy-based Localization Algorithm.
