Abstract

Optical waveguide is the main component for the structures of integrated optical circuit (OEICS) which guides the light to transmit signals for long distance and less loss propagation. This is often designed to be single mode. However, other structures support higher order mode. Therefore many numerical methods are used for these elements and developed the structure of optical waveguide to support higher order mode that has been stimulated the factors wave vector and propagation constant. In this paper, design an efficient optical waveguides to improve the performance of the output mode at an operating wavelength of 1. 55mm systems and analysis the characteristics with transverse step using FD Mode solver and BDM algorithms. This can utilize in the field of scientific sectors whenever the propagation of light is necessary to transmit the different signals for many applications such interference system.
