Abstract

The world is becoming a smaller place with the fast communication advances that are going on, nowadays ambitious organizations are looking to upgrade their businesses from serving local regions to global ones. To achieve this internationalizing approach many linguistic and cultural differences need to be considered and website programmers and designers are faced with many technical issues. This paper will try to present different technical techniques that can be used to accomplish localization in websites. The code samples in this paper were implemented using the ASP.net programming language, but it can be implemented in other development languages and environments using the same concepts.
